Annabel

Annabel is a devoted wife and mother to two daughters, aged 15 and 18. Seven years ago, she founded Andezz, her own real estate firm, and hasn’t looked back since. A consummate globetrotter, she travels the world with her husband, attending events from Paris to Doha. Her pleasures are unapologetically refined: a morning swim, a languid afternoon of shopping with sisters or friends, blissful days by the coast, and indulgent Saturday brunches that stretch well into the afternoon.

Our three questions:

1. Can you share a moment in your life when you thought: "this time, I'm choosing me"? A few years ago, I began a tradition of mother–daughter escapes — just me and one of my girls, once a year, for a five-day getaway. It’s the most precious time, a ritual that echoes the trips I once took with my own mother in my twenties and thirties.

2. What do you dare to do today as a woman, which you might not have dared 5 or 10 years ago? It may sound small, but I now strike up conversations everywhere — while shopping, waiting in line, offering a tip or exchanging a smile. I’m no longer as shy as my younger self; I carry a quiet confidence now, especially when I’m wearing my Vain pieces.

3. What does your favorite VAIN item say about who you are? I own the Vain loafers in both black leather and beige suede — elegant, exquisitely made flats that feel as effortless as they look. They’re timeless, ageless, and give me poise and ease at the busiest receptions. Perhaps a matching clutch is next… just for that feminine touch.
