Our three questions:
1. Can you share a moment in your life when you thought: "this time, I'm choosing me"? At the very early stage of my divorce, while going through a hectic time and traveling to Paris for work, I decided to finally treat myself to the classic black Céline bag I had always dreamed of (even though I had never spent so much on a bag nor clothing before). It turned out to be one of my best purchases and the bag still has a special symbolic and emotional meaning to me. I plan to to pass it on to my daughter later.
2. What do you dare to do today as a woman, which you might not have dared 5 or 10 years ago? Although I was used to traveling alone for work, I had never taken a trip just for myself—pleasure always meant family or friends by my side. A few years ago, I decided to change that and booked a solo getaway to Tel Aviv. It turned out to be such a liberating, beautiful experience that it became a little tradition of mine. Since then, I’ve wandered through Hong Kong and Palermo on my own, and each journey has felt like a quiet conversation with myself. Now, it’s time to plan the next one—Istanbul is calling.
3. What does your favorite VAIN item say about who you
I’m absolutely in love with the belts—I have two, and they’ve become real staples in my wardrobe. They add that effortless finishing touch to any outfit, whether I’m dressed for a meeting, an evening out, or simply throwing something on for a slow Sunday. And here’s a little secret: I switch between the silver and gold buckles to match my jewelry.
